Easy Easter Bread

Easy Easter Bread Recipe
In mixing bowl (electric mixer)
Add
1 cup  warm milk (1% is fine)
1 pkg (2 1/4 tsp) yeast
Set aside for 5 minutes
Add next ingredients one at a time and mix well.
1/2 cup melted butter (best) or oil
1/3 cup sugar
3 eggs
Add a 1/2 cup at time
3 1/2 cups flour
Add
1 cup raisins (optional). Pour hot water over raisins and let stand for about 5 minutes to let them get plump. Drain and pat dry with paper towel. Add to mix, mixing until raisins are well integrated.
Mixture will be somewhat lighter than regular bread dough. Let rise until double. Push down and place in prepared greased pans. Let rise until double in bulk, about 1 hour.
Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes for small pans and 50 to 60 minutes for large pan. Bread will be golden brown when ready and there will be a hollow sound when you tap it. Remove from pans and cool on wire rack.
